The Morning After…..

Wow. We have gone to the polls. We have made our voices heard. All over the nation, there were important offices to fill and essential propositions to consider. And of course the hope upon hope that we can gain better leadership in the White House. And so we went to the polls. Even as I write this, the victor in the Presidential Election is uncertain. You can view all races in Los Angeles County here. But while we wait here is a look at some of the results in the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas:

Rep. Maxine Waters, 43rd District D-CA

MAXINE WATERS 72.54% JOE E. COLLINS III 27.46%

And there are so many local races of interest… Holly Mitchell beat out Herb Wesson for Los Angeles County Supervisor District 2.

Jackie Lacy is out. The people have spoken. George Gascon is the new District attorney in the County of Los Angeles.

Karen Bass remains Congresswoman of the 37th District.
