Dr. Walker is a renowned historian, social entrepreneur, filmmaker, and scholar. Channeling intellect, creativity, and a passion for social justice, he makes good things happen. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book: No More, No More: S;avery and Cultural Resistance in Havana and New Orlenas… He'r the writer and director of several films including When Roosters Crow, The Ten, Sol Brothers, Let's Have Church.. and the PBS Documentary How Sweet the Sound: Gospel in Los Angeles.. He's the founder of the Gospel Music History Archive at University of Southern California and the founder/director of the Long Beach International Film and Music Festival.
